This upgrade kit has been selected after many hours auditioning parts and is guaranteed to bring out the best possible sound quality from your X-Can V2. The capacitor upgrade kit comes complete with a comprehensive 3 page manual and is very easy to perform if you know one end of a soldering iron from the other!

UPDATE: Kit now comes complete with the ultrafast diode mods which, together with the cap mods, transform the V2 into a truly mind blowing amp!

The parts in the upgrade kit have been chosen specifically for their sonic attributes and are not just a handful of uber expensive "boutique" parts that look good. The Panasonic FC / FM caps have been selected for their liquid, smooth flowing sound, their low ESR (equivalent series resistance) and long life 105C rating. The non polar input & output caps have been selected because they sound a lot better than directional electrolytics and the additional 250uF of capacitance per channel improves the bass response no end, especially with low impedance headphones such as the Grado series. The EVOX polypropylene caps have been chosen as they are, in my opinion, the best sounding polyprops currently available.
