There have been quite a few requests for me to supply a kit of parts for the Jan meier Bass enhanced crossfeed (see here and also here) so here they are!

I supply three kits ranging from the parts required for the engine, to parts plus gold plated phono sockets to parts plus high quality gold plated phono sockets. All kits come with breadboard, solder and hook up wire. Resistors are hand matched to ensure 100% accuracy per channel and all capacitors are high quality polypropylene types.

Full instructions on constructing the crossfeed can be found here and also here It's a very simple unit to build but extremely effective in operation, many people use it in circuit all the time as it has almost zero insertion loss and helps alleviate fatigue when listening for prolonged periods. It's also amazing when listening to extreme stereo recordings such as some of The Beatles earlier works as it gets rid of that left / right/ centre presentation and recreates the music in a natural way.

It's really quite a cunning device in that it will only kick in when (where you'll notice it} when it's presented with an extreme stereo recording..... most of the time you won't even realise it's in circuit. So, as a fatigue alleviator or as a tool to balance extreme stereo recordings the crossfeed is a must in any headphone system and one (if not "the") of the cheapest and most effective devices you'll ever come across in Hi-Fi Land.
